Join us as we introduce you to the skills you will need to safely and confidently progress your riding, if you are brand new to the sport or returning after a break.
We meet at 10 am and after looking at our goals for the day and checking our initial set up move through a variety of activities using our proven coaching formulae that add up to a complete Intro to MTB package.
By lunch time you’ll be ready for a bite to eat before taking your new found confidence out on to the trails to really experience MTB at its best.
No previous MTB experience required but you must be able to ride a bike. This course is geared to those who are new to the sport, therefore there may be differing levels of confidence and you must be willing to bear with one another and work as a team!
Coaching in Individual bike setup, skills check, gear selection, fundamental climbing and descending, cornering, braking, guided ride and “on trail” individual coaching points. We will begin on the Blue route and may progress to the Red.
Due to the physical demands of our courses and for the enjoyment of others we do not allow children under 12 to participate in group courses, we do however conduct private family courses tailored to this need.
COVID 19 Update
We take all necessary measures in line with Public Health England Guidance, group sizes are limited to 6 and participants are expected to bring hand sanitizer and a face mask for times when working in close proximity (these are highly sparse). Courses will be socially distanced (which is pretty easy outdoors!).
